Two or three hackers have reportedly stolen the credit card information of hundreds of thousands of Israelis. According to Maglan Internet Defense Technologies, the hackers are probably citizens of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Croatia. According to Shai Blitzblau, Managing Director of Maglan, the group is also responsible for hacking other websites, including Islamic ones. He concluded that for this reason, the claim that the hackers targeted Israel's economy is probably unfounded. One hacker claiming to be a member of the Saudi hacking organisation Group-XP, said that he revealed information including credit card details and personal data on the website, One.co.il. Israeli credit card companies have said that the list is repetitive and actually only includes 14000 Israelis. They said they have blocked all the cards and will give customers their money back if any purchases have been made on the cards.
